Kit Emory

An honors graduate of Harvard University and alumna of the New England Conservatory, Ms. Emory has enjoyed a rich and varied career, both on and off the stage. While working for a world-renowned neuroscientist at MIT, she organized international conferences on Alzheimer’s Disease and edited scientific journal articles and books; more recently, she edited a vegan cookbook for the PBS television show, Jazzy Vegetarian. A lyric mezzo, Kit ran her own successful music management company for years, booking and producing concerts, handling PR, and writing grants; she also worked for the New England Foundation for the Arts, evaluating music grant recipients. She has toured nationally and internationally with leading opera companies and been a featured soloist in major concert venues, including Carnegie Hall. A passionate advocate for equality, diversity, and representation in the arts, Kit is proud to be working with DGF to further its inspiring mission.
