Simone Brown
Social Media Coordinator
Soprano, Simone Brown oversees all the social media for the Denyce Graves Foundation. After receiving her undergraduate degree at Xavier University of Louisiana, she went on to receive her master’s degree in Voice at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, studying under Denyce Graves. Since then, Simone has performed with Chicago Summer Opera and Opera Nova; recently, she has delved into the musical theater scene in the Washington, D.C. area. During the pandemic, she used her time and entrepreneurial skills to develop a business in addition to her social media work: Black Princess Parties, DMV - a company that currently serves the D.C. metro area (encompassing Washington, Maryland, and Virginia), providing performance opportunities for Black men and women while bringing joy to children.
