Symone Harcum
Executive Administrator
A graduate of Peabody Conservatory, soprano Symone Harcum balances her career on the opera stage with her multifaceted work as an executive administrator, design and production coordinator, and creative contributor for The Denyce Graves Foundation. A member of the prestigious Emerging Artist Program at Virginia Opera, she has sung multiple roles as well as been a finalist in both national and international competitions. Upcoming engagements include performing La Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro at Virginia Opera, and singing Micaëla at Minnesota Opera (where Symone is a Resident Artist) in a production of Carmen to be directed by Denyce Graves. An admitted history nerd with a passion for education and inclusion, Symone’s versatile career experience informs her work with the foundation, allowing her to offer valuable insights on program development for young artists.
